We randomly chose Chester, England for a quick overnight stop—then stumbled into historic city walls, a Georgian festival, and a surprise parade we never saw coming. Visiting Chester, England by accident turned into one of our favorite travel experiences—complete with city walls, Chester Castle, and the Midsummer Watch Parade.

We were exploring Bath, England while waiting for our reserved tour of the Roman Bath ruins and had few minutes to stroll around. Dan and the girls were busy in a cafe getting drinks and snacks.
