“Our Quick Guide: 5 Things You’ll Always Need for Gardening!

Hey friends! If you're dipping your toes into gardening (or tired of overbuying gadgets), we made this short video just for you. No fancy setup required — just the real essentials two midlife beginners actually use every single day.
We cover only five must-haves that keep things simple, affordable, and fun:
Containers — Grab a few different sizes (even old household ones!) for starting seedlings or collecting clippings and dead leaves so you're not running to the compost every minute.
Protective gear — A wide-brimmed hat, long sleeves, and comfy gloves. Sun protection + scratch-proof hands = way more enjoyable time in the garden.
Adjustable hose nozzle — Our favorite multi-tasker! Gentle shower for tiny herbs, deep soaker for roots, jet to clean tools, and mist to cool off on hot days.
Small hand trowel / shovel — Perfect for digging up crowded plants, making new holes, weeding, and transplanting without drama.
Gardening scissors/shears — Hands-down our most-used tool. Deadhead flowers (give 'em a quick haircut for more blooms), snip herbs, trim leggy bits — clean cuts every time.
We filmed this because we wish we'd had it when we started — no overwhelm, just practical stuff that works in small spaces, containers, raised beds, or wherever you're growing.
